Celebration: That They May See Jesus is a promotional DVD created for Celebration 2008 (and 2009 and 2010). It is filled with outreach ideas and inspirational teaching. This free DVD includes greetings from Bruce J. Clemenger, president of the EFC, and Dave Toycen, president of World Vision Canada, plus an inspirational message and ideas by David A. Macfarlane, the EFC's former director of national initiatives.

The Global Day of Prayer, an event founded by South African businessman Graham Power, encourages all Christians to pray for revival and restoration worldwide in the ten days leading up to Pentecost Sunday, May 23, and to find special ways to bless their local communities in the 90 days following. ![]() Fifteen churches in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ont., report that they recently got “out of their pews to serve their communities.” During two weeks they cleaned up subsidized housing projects, painted a shelter for women, cleaned gutters, removed grafitti, did yard work for single moms and more, all under the banner of “Love KW”!
One resident said: “What your 40 volunteers did in four hours would have taken us a year!” The churches are now planning ongoing projects in the community. A 13-year-old boy gave a worker a hug and said: “When are you guys coming back?” The churches are now planning ongoing projects in the community.
