The CNMM is a partnership that was originally formed and operated on the EFC's ministry partnerships platform, and is now affiliated with the EFC as an independent ministry organization.

The CNMM is made up of local networks whose mandate is to serve and facilitate the Canadian Church to minister to Muslims in Canada.
