Our Roman Catholic Neighbours

The EFC has posted a new 15-page resource called Our Roman Catholic Neighbours arising out of the Roman Catholic-Evangelical Dialogue co-hosted by the EFC and Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops. It is a sister document to Our Evangelical Neighbours, produced by the Catholic Bishops in 2016. The goal is for these two faith communities, who often work together on issues of shared concern, to understand each other better.

Interfaith Conference Videos Now Available

The EFC participates in a group called the Canadian Interfaith Conversation, which gathers representatives of 41 faith communities and faith-based organizations who believe that people of faith can contribute positively to the benefit of all people in Canadian society. The group held a multifaith conference in April in Toronto about the place of religion in Canadian society. A variety of experts made presentations on extremism, polarization and other topics, including three keynote speakers: the Hon. Bob Rae, Dr. Solange LeFebvre, and Dr. Michael Ruse. Video recordings from the event are now available online. Find links to the videos and more at TheEFC.ca/OurWholeSociety.
