New Canada Watch highlights EFC-led research

“Can you help my organization deal with certain problems we’re having?” That is a question EFC staff hear often, as the leadership team speaks at churches or conferences and meets with affiliate churches and organizations. In the latest Canada Watch, read how the EFC responds to these questions by launching research projects. Also in this issue: EFC Engagement Kit coming your way; EFC Election Kit is available online; Faith Today helps to shed light on the political life; and more.

Essay and video contest for young adults

Love Is Moving, Canada's Christian youth magazine, is sponsoring an exciting contest with some great prizes. It invites Canadians age 18 to 35 to write an article (500-1500 words) or create a video (5 minutes or less) and submit it by Sept. 20. Grand prize is $500 and a trip to Montreal Oct. 24 to attend EFC’s Presidents Day to present the winning piece. Several other cash awards range from $250 to $150. The contest aims to re-introduce the evangelical movement to Canadians who don’t use the word “evangelical” much or know a lot about it. Details at LoveIsMoving.ca/Contest.
