New Podcast: While We Pray for Miracles

B.C. writer Dave Jeffery, who lives with the terminal neurological disorder ALS, takes us inside his journey of praying for a personal miracle of healing – and finding grace instead.

This new podcast is an audio version of a Jan/Feb 2020 print article from Faith Today. Dave Jeffrey has recently expanded his ideas into a short book, available in paperback from House of James Christian bookstore and as an e-book on Amazon Kindle and in the Apple bookstore.

Ministering to Seniors with Home Bible Study

“The people who attend are some of the most gracious, godly men and women I have ever met.” Retired Ontario teacher Nathanael Reed reflects on how churches can support seniors by hosting Bible study groups. Read more in this new blog post at the Faith Today website.

One of the EFC's affiliates, Strategic Renewal Canada, is offering a weekly worship-based Zoom prayer meeting. It is happening each Wednesday at noon Atlantic. To register and receive the Zoom invitation, please visit: https://strategicrenewal.ca/zoom-prayer-meetings-registration/

Ministries Pivot in the Pandemic

Pandemic restrictions have forced many outreach ministries to new heights of creativity. As Canadians lament many that have closed temporarily or even permanently, some charities have found surprising and inspiring success. Read a recent Faith Today article of how ministries are adapting to the pandemic.
