EFC AND THE IMPORTANT B.C. COURT CASE HAPPENING THIS WEEK
“The implications of this case extend beyond TWU. Most Christian colleges and universities have codes of conduct, as do many other religious organizations,” writes Bruce J. Clemenger, EFC president, about the Trinity Western University law school case that has begun in the Supreme Court of British Columbia. Read his full comments at blog.theEFC.ca. The EFC filed its legal arguments for this case that began on August 24. 

EFC PRESIDENT TO ATTEND CHANGE OF CHAPLAIN GENERAL
On Wednesday EFC President Bruce J. Clemenger will participate in the change of appointment ceremony for Chaplain General (Canadian Forces) from Brigadier-General John Fletcher to Brigadier General Guy Chapdelaine. Clemenger is a member of the Interfaith Committee for Canadian Military Chaplaincy representing the military chaplains who are from affiliate EFC denominations. Clemenger, along with other members of the Interfaith Committee on Military Chaplaincy, was honoured recently with an award recognizing the committee’s outstanding contribution to the development of the Canadian Military Chaplaincy.
