EFC President Participating in World Evangelical Alliance Meetings
EFC President Bruce Clemenger is participating in the International Leadership meetings of the World Evangelical Alliance that are being held in Germany this week. Clemenger is a member of the International Council of the WEA. The EFC is one of 129 national alliances that are members of the WEA.
EFC Begins Dialogue With the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs
The EFC recently entered into a formal dialogue with the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs (CIJA). Their first meeting took place last Wednesday, February 22, in Ottawa. Read more about the partnership between the EFC and CIJA.
Religious Discrimination Motion: EFC Response
The EFC is concerned about the wording of motion M-103, currently before the House of Commons, which calls for a study aimed at reducing religious discrimination in Canada. Two Dimensions of Religious Freedom
In the January/February Faith Today, EFC President Bruce Clemenger explains why protecting freedom of religion is so important: “Promoting religious freedom is not just a defensive measure to ensure everyone has the ability to worship as they see fit, but a proactive engagement with others to help them understand who or what they actually worship.”
