Renegotiating Faith: The Delay in Young Adult Identity Formation

“Young adults are three times more likely to connect with a new church after moving out of their parents’ home if someone from their home congregation tries to make a connection for them.” Learn more about the latest research on young adult transitions in Renegotiating Faith, a new report derived from research conducted by the EFC and its partners. It is now available as a free download!

The Evangelical Fellowship of Canada, Power to Change–Students, InterVarsity Canada, Youth for Christ and Truth Matters Ministries partnered on this research to discover how we can help our teens stay connected to church and faith as they move on from high school.

Your Stories of Palliative Care—Andrée Morissette

The EFC is publishing a series of personal experience stories in support of our free new Palliative Care Toolkit. This week you can read the story of Andrée Morissette, who tells of caring for her elderly parents, and how she coped with the overwhelming grief when she lost both of them in short succession. Have you witnessed the difference palliative care made for a loved one? If you have an experience that you’d be willing to share with other readers on our websites, please email us to tell us about it. To say thank you, we’ll give you a free one-year subscription to Faith Today, Canada’s Christian magazine. We’re also publishing these Stories of Palliative Care on the Faith Today blog.

A Tale of Two Witnesses: How Can the Church Be a Loving Neighbour?

When others ignore the poor and needy around us, their inaction can convince us to also remain silent. However, “being an inactive bystander is simply not an option for us individually or corporately,” says Natalie Appleyard of Citizens for Public Justice in the July/August Faith Today.
