RECOMMENDATIONS FOR REDUCING THE IMPACT OF PORN ON PUBLIC HEALTH
The EFC has recommended public health measures to reduce the impact of violent Internet pornography on Canadians, in a written brief to the House of Commons Health Committee. Read the EFC’s March 10 brief.

A DAY WITH THE EFC PRESIDENT IN ALBERTA
EFC President Bruce J. Clemenger will be presenting a full-day seminar to the Lethbridge Evangelical Ministerial Association on March 27. IS CHRIST RELEVANT TO POLITICS?
For the March/April cover story in Faith Today, writer Patricia Paddey spoke to four theologians – Ephraim Radner, John Stackhouse, Steven Studebaker and Miroslav Volf — about how faith shapes public life. Theologian David Guretzki also wrote a companion piece. Each theologian described how theology is relevant to how we think about politics, and what political life really means for the Christian.

REVIEW OF THE SHACK MOVIE
The Shack, a popular, theologically controversial novel by Canadian-born author William Paul Young, was recently made into a movie. It’s playing in theatres now. NEW RESEARCH ON LONG-TERM MISSIONS
The EFC and the Canadian Missions Research Forum have released Canadian Evangelicals and Long-Term, Career Missions: Calling, Sending and Training, the second report in the Canadian Evangelicals Missions Engagement Study series. LOVE IS MOVING SPEAKERS IN NEW BRUNSWICK
Abby Morgan, a writer for the EFC's young adults magazine Love Is Moving, and its co-founder Benjamin Porter spoke about Love Is Moving at Grand Bay Baptist Church in Grand Bay, N.B., on the morning of Sunday, March 12.
