BE EQUIPPED TO INTERACT ON EUTHANASIA AND ASSISTED SUICIDE IN CANADA: SIGN UP FOR EFC WEBINAR ON MARCH 31
A parliamentary committee recently submitted its controversial proposals on assisted suicide, including no minimum age requirement or terminal physical illness requirement but requiring doctors and institutions to participate. Join us Mar. 31 for a free webinar to explore together the impact the recommendations could have, the responses they have been receiving, and to consider a way forward. EFC experts will take your questions. Register now at at theEFC.ca/webinars.

NOW IS THE TIME TO CONTACT YOUR MP. HERE’S HOW
Don’t wait for the upcoming webinar to interact with your local Member of Parliament about euthanasia and assisted suicide. You can find all the basics you need to start this crucial conversation at theEFC.ca/EuthanasiaUrgentAction. An editorial in Monday’s National Postshed light on some of the recommendations made to do with euthanasia and mental illness in Canada, including a call to contact MPs as soon as possible.

FAITH TODAY ANNOUNCES CONTEST WINNERS FROM ENTRIES ACROSS CANADA
Faith Today, Canada’s Christian magazine published by the EFC, announced the winners of its very popular “Give your pastor a break” contest. The contest, held in partnership with spiritual retreat centres and camps from coast to coast, invited Canadian congregations to submit the name of their pastor, why they deserve a break and a few words on the great job they do. More than 100 names were submitted. The draw took place last week. Every pastor entered in the contest received a free two-year subscription to Faith Today and a social media salute. The winning names, randomly drawn, receive a two-night stay at one of the generous retreat centres who joined Faith Today to present this contest.

WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU ON THE WEST OR EAST COAST
