LOYOLA RELIGIOUS FREEDOM SUPREME COURT DECISION TO BE RELEASED THURSDAY
This Thursday the Supreme Court of Canada will release its decision in Loyola High School and John Zucchi v. Attorney General of Quebec. The EFC intervened in this case on whether or not private religious schools will be compelled to teach a provincial religion and ethics curriculum from a non-religious perspective. EFC SPONSORED CONFERENCE ON BRIDGING THE RELIGIOUS-SECULAR DIVIDE COMING UP IN VANCOUVER 
The EFC is sponsoring a conference on religion in the public square March 22-24 in Vancouver. Registration is now open for the Our Whole Society conference. EFC President Bruce Clemenger and Vice-President Aileen Van Ginkel will chair panel sessions during the conference that will explore: What does it mean to build a “whole society”? What is the purpose of secularism, and what are its limits? How can we re-conceptualize the role of religion in Canadian public life?
