The FT Interview: Interview With Wilma Derksen

Wilma and Cliff Derksen’s 13-year-old daughter Candace went missing in November 1984. Seven weeks later, her body was found, but charges were not laid until 22 years later in a case that is now in an appeal process. After her daughter’s murder, Wilma Derksen became a speaker and consultant on victimization and criminal justice, and she has just written a book, The Way of Letting Go: One Woman’s Walk Toward Forgiveness. We interviewed Wilma in our new May/June issue of Faith Today.
