EFC ELECTION WEBINAR TOMORROW
Register now at theEFC.ca/webinar for tomorrow’s webinar, to be held at 1:00 p.m. Eastern time. Why should Christians be involved in the election? How can we be involved? This live webinar with EFC President Bruce J. Clemenger will explore current hot topics, equip you with questions you can ask your candidates, and help you ensure your individual and church participation are effective within the clear boundaries of electoral rules in Canada. EFC ELECTION KIT UPDATED
The 2015 EFC Election Kit now includes a new fact sheet on Indigenous Peoples. Also includes: understanding elections; guidelines for church engagement in elections; hosting an all candidates’ meeting; and fact sheets on the environment, family, palliative care, poverty, prostitution, refugees, religious freedom, reproductive technologies, abortion and euthanasia. Aussi disponible en français.

NATIONAL HEALTHCARE PRAYER SUMMIT

QUEBEC EVANGELICALS TO LAUNCH LEADERS NETWORK
Leaders of 15 evangelical denominations in Quebec are officially launching a new network, the “Réseau des Évangéliques Québécois,” on Oct. 1 in Fabreville, Que. The RÉQ exists to foster relationships of trust, provide a discussion platform to reflect on the Church in Quebec and find common projects that require collaboration. Evangelical leaders in Quebec are invited to attend, and the group also plans to webcast the event.
