EFC Expresses Deep Sorrow Over Sri Lanka Attacks

The EFC expresses our deep sorrow over the Easter attacks on Christian churches in Sri Lanka. We strongly condemn all such violence. We mourn with our brothers and sisters there and pray for the families and church communities devastated by these losses. The World Evangelical Alliance has also issued a statement.

EFC Vice-President to Visit Edmonton

David Guretzki, the EFC’s Executive Vice-President, will speak next month at Equip 2019, an event sponsored by The Fellowship of Evangelical Baptist Churches in Canada. The event takes place from May 2-3 in Edmonton. This year’s two-fold theme is Church Planting and Culture and the Church. David will speak about how churches can navigate the cultural landscape well. Roman Catholic-Evangelical: A Conversation

The national Roman Catholic-Evangelical Dialogue, sponsored by the EFC and the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops, is hosting a conversation to foster Roman Catholic-Evangelical relationship-building at Southview Alliance Church in Calgary on May 9 at 7:30 PM. You are welcome to join in a discussion, led by four panelists, that explores how we can better work together to witness to God’s love in changing times.

The Cost of Conscience

The EFC intervened in support of the doctors along with the Christian Legal Fellowship and the Assembly of Catholic Bishops of Ontario.
