Pray

Prayer is essential to any effective action. Each week at TheEFC.ca/TakeAction we rotate through a prayer request from each of these five areas: Sanctity of Life Care for the Vulnerable Church and Mission Family and Community Religious Freedom. We also list an EFC affiliate group to pray for.

This Week’s Prayer Prompts    

This week's prayer prompt is about family. 

Pray:

• For a culture that respects and fosters faithful, committed relationships
• For the marriages and family relationships of the people you know
• For wisdom and relevance in teaching our kids
• For families in crisis
• For children and youth in government care needing a permanent home

Each week we also list an EFC affiliate to pray for. This week, pray for Focus on the Family Canada, which is committed to helping Canadians nurture, protect and invest in their families so they can thrive – even in the messy brokenness of our world.

• for our communities and our country
• for churches in Canada and around the world
• for wisdom, courage and opportunities to love our neighbours
• for the EFC’s work on your behalf

Become involved

• Offer practical, tangible help to people in need or in crisis
• Raise awareness in your church and community
• Learn more about a topic individually or as part of a church study group

Ask for change

• Call, write or visit your MP. Remember to thank them for their service and let them know you’re praying for them. Find your MP’s contact information. Get great advice in our Engagement Kit.
