Next EFC Webinar: Religious Freedom of Other Religions

Sign up now to join our Oct. 20 EFC webinar (Thursday noon, Eastern time). Why should Christians care about the religious freedom of other religions? Bruce Clemenger, President of the EFC, will take questions and explain the Ktunaxa Nation case.

Two Research Projects: Missions, Helping The Post-Highschool Transition

The Oct/Nov issue of the EFC newsletter Canada Watch is now available, featuring an introduction to two new research projects. The first will look at the transition after highschool and how churches and ministry leaders can help young adults stay connected to church and faith. The second studies what Canadian congregations think and practise in terms of missions.

Support For Palliative Framework

The EFC recently sent a letter of support to MP Marilyn Gladu regarding her private member’s bill C-277, which would establish a national palliative care framework. Support this effort to improve access to palliative care for all Canadians by writing to your MP using our sample letter.

Blog Post: Pray For Three Initiatives In Parliament

What are three very positive initiatives in the House of Commons this fall that you can support and pray about? Read the latest post on the EFC blog.

Not The Time For Resignation

The legalization of euthanasia and assisted suicide leaves us much more work to do, according to a recent article by EFC President Bruce J. Clemenger. Read it in the Sep/Oct issue of Faith Today, Canada’s Christian magazine.

New Student Rate

The Church in Canada needs the participation of young people, and the financial reality of being a full-time student shouldn’t be an obstacle to that participation. So the EFC has now created a special student subscription rate of only $2 per issue of Canada’s Christian magazines Faith Today and the youth-focused Love Is Moving. Students who subscribe at this rate are invited to note the name of their school and expected graduation date. (Youth groups can also take advantage of this rate!) Get details online or by calling 1-866-302-3362.
