EFC Welcomes Justice Committee Report on Human Trafficking in Canada
The EFC welcomes the unanimous Justice Committee report on human trafficking in Canada, Moving Forward in the Fight Against Human Trafficking in Canada. The report’s recommendations include steps to increase education and public awareness, develop a consistent definition of human trafficking and move towards better data collection. Is a Clergy Crisis Coming?
“More than half of today’s senior pastors will be retirement age within the next ten years, according to a 2016 survey by the EFC and the Canadian Missions Research Forum. ‘However, one-third of these pastors …are already over 65 today,’ according to Rick Hiemstra, the EFC’s director of research.
