Act before January 27 to support safeguards and limit eligibility for medical assistance in dying (MAID). The government has opened a 2-week online consultation on MAID to guide new legislation. The government is asking Canadians their views on safeguards for medical assistance in dying (MAID). In this podcast Julia Beazley, the EFC’s director of public policy, sheds light on the context of this consultation and why it is so important to participate.
