MPs debate bill to require platforms to verify age and consent for explicit content
A private member's bill is being debated today that would require commercial pornography producers and distributors to verify the age and consent of each person depicted in explicit content before it is uploaded. This bill is moving through the House of Commons and is scheduled for its second hour of debate this afternoon. For more information, including a sample letter, see TheEFC.ca/C-270.
EFC president, board chair attend Holocaust remembrance
EFC President David Guretzki and board chair Adam Driscoll attended a ceremony commemorating the Holocaust at the Yom HaShoah National Holocaust Monument on Holocaust Remembrance Day, May 6. They were invited by the National Holocaust Monument Committee.
