EFC addresses B.C. religious freedom case on 100 Huntley
EFC senior ambassador Bruce J. Clemenger was joined on 100 Huntley Street by Deina Warren from the Canadian Centre for Christian Charities to discuss the issue of euthanasia and the St. Paul’s Hospital case in B.C. The EFC will be intervening in support of faith-based healthcare facilities being able to offer care that aligns with their beliefs. Watch the segment this Thursday, January 29.
Disagreeing well: Processing conflict the Jesus Way
The creators of a new small group consulting process called "Disagreeing Well" introduced it recently on the All Things Reconciled Podcast. Bethany Serengheu and Joel Zantingh of the Peace and Reconciliation Network joined host Phil Wagler to discuss Jesus-centred ways of relating in times of conflict.
EFC staff attend International Holocaust Remembrance Day ceremony
EFC President David Guretzki and Director of Public Policy Julia Beazley attended the International Holocaust Remembrance Day ceremony in Ottawa today. There were speeches from the Prime Minister, the Leader of the Official Opposition, other dignitaries and leaders of Jewish organizations. The theme for this year was The Power of One, highlighting the difference one person can make. May we never forget and always stand against antisemitism.
