EFC LAUNCHES NEW WEBSITE

We have been working hard over the last few months to deliver a new website. We are delighted to announce that it is finally here. Please check it out at www.TheEFC.ca. It has been organized with five primary themes. They are Sanctity of Life, Religious Freedom, Church and Mission, Family and Community and Care for the Vulnerable. Each of these themes has an image that reflects the theme, and each topic within the site displays the same image to show how the topic relates to the overall theme. We welcome feedback!

REFORMATION HISTORY AFTER 500 YEARS

This year, 2017, is the 500th anniversary of the start of the Reformation. The Evangelical Alliance United Kingdom, our sister alliance in the UK, has shared this piece on the history of the Reformation in their magazine, Idea. They remind us that the history of evangelicalism was strongly shaped by the Reformation. Many evangelical denominations around the world, from Lutheran to Baptist and Reformed, originated because of the renewal of ideas that followed the Reformation.
