NEW EXECUTIVE VICE-PRESIDENT

The EFC is pleased to announce that Dr. David Guretzki is joining the EFC team as our new Executive Vice-President, beginning June 1, 2017. He is currently serving as Dean of the Seminary and Professor of Theology, Church and Public Life at Briercrest College and Seminary.

THE EFC LAUNCHES NEW WEBSITE AND VIDEO

If you haven't visited our new website yet, check it out at www.TheEFC.ca. You will notice that the website is organized with five primary themes: Sanctity of Life, Religious Freedom, Church and Mission, Family and Community, and Care for the Vulnerable.

We also now have a new EFC overview video. Please watch it and let us know what you think.

CALL TO ACTION

Parliament recently passed a motion calling on the standing health committee to study the public health effects of easily accessible, violent and degrading sexually explicit material online. This crucial study ought to receive the attention that this issue demands. Please view our two-minute video to see how you can help.

ONE YEAR LATER: REFUGEE SPONSORSHIP BY EVANGELICAL CHURCHES IN CANADA

It offers a "by the numbers" glance at the dedicated efforts of denominations and churches across Canada to welcome refugees. It also provides guidance on how to support our new neighbours, one year later.
